Seventh Day of Chemo
7th day. Seventh day. When we first started this journey everyone said that by the 7th chemo treatment, she’ll be __________. We heard a lot about how she would be feeling, but i’m glad to report that she is still going strong. There are bumps in the road that she has to overcome, but nothing she can’t handle.
7th chemo started with a beautiful sunny weather. We left home at 7:15am and got back home at 1:30 pm
within those 5 hours at the hospital, I tackled my blood being drained and three treatments.
The Infusion center received new chairs! They look nice and luxe, but according to her, the old chairs were way more comfortable for her. She had her usual small oatmeal, accompanied with a movie
It’s pretty amazing that I am still standing and enjoying three meals a day with family and friends a few days in a week.
God’s love is in every corner of my path, I just have to find it, and be grateful for it.
HIS love is sufficient in every situation I am in
Pastor Paul Gunadi is back from Indonesia after a month of teaching in Malang.
I got to spend time about an hour today with him as he shared God’s word and a prayer
Please remember to lift him up in your prayer as you pray for me because he is fighting prostate cancer himself. We appreciate him because while he is facing this struggle, he is also comforting me and many others in his congregation
A Cancer survivor visited the Infusion center today and handed out roses to each of the patience who were at the center! This small little gesture from someone, made her day, so thoughtful!
After treatment, she fell asleep right away in the car. When she got home, she ate a quick meal and is napping until now. Please give her a prayer as she is experiencing shortness of breath, frequent bloody noses, and upset stomach aches.
5 to go
God, please have mercy on me as I am turning 56 in two days
