Sixth Day of Chemo
Here we are… 6th chemo! We are all caught up! Tomorrow will be our 7th chemo session! Tomorrow will be another big one, as the cycle is ending and the next one starts! So we’ll be at the hospital for a good amount of time!
I’m not sure if we’re becoming delirious, but we laughed a lot in this session. We have a running joke that, from the outside, she is the one who looks the strongest, and Levi and Tesia are the ones who looks “sick”. I have included a photo as a reference. If I get in trouble, i’ll take it down, haha. Enjoy for now
We have our routine of comfort down, she enjoys the small sized oatmeal from the cafeteria, we have also included a moisturizing leg/foot massage while she closes her eyes. We are also making a point that she goes outside to get some sun.
Immediately after we were finished we went to In-N-Out and enjoyed a small little family lunch. She proceeded to nap and rest for the remainder of the day. As for how she’s doing mentally, there is a new post up, and it shares a bit of how she’s been feeling recently, you can read that here.
Although her spirits vary, and you can see that the chemo is taking a toll on her body, she remains strong and positive. She’s still doing some jobs here and there on the weekend for our business. She’s still answering calls from clients, and more importantly she’s still excited to go out and have fun with her sister and friends. She really appreciates those fun hang outs, truly.
Thank you all.
