Fifth Day of Chemo
Hello all of you, apologies for such a lag on the postings! We are back and we are picking up where we left off:
No. 5: Tuesday October 15, 2019
Things feel routine, but not really. If that makes sense. We know the in’s and out of what to do and what to expect. But this new “normal” is still an adjustment. We are now forgetting to take our medication 1 hr before our chemo treatment, haha. We always remember when we’re already in the chair.
“Thank you Tante Paula for cooking such a delicious meal. I couldn’t wait to eat it!”
Doctor’s Appointment prior to Chemo Session:
We met with our oncologist today. He examined her and noticed a significant decrease in the lymph nodes and a definite improvement in the other concerned areas. It was mentioned that treatment will go on until the new year, which discouraged her, since she was hopeful in visiting her parents in Indonesia this December.
We decided to schedule an early CT scan to see improvements done by the tea she’s drinking and the chemo
Thank you for being patient with these recaps + updates. I’ll try to keep up with them!
